UCU Industrial Action Referendum
You were given the opportunity to vote Yes, No or Abstain on the following question:
“Do you believe that the Students’ Union should support the UCU industrial action this academic year on pensions, and on pay and working conditions?”
Under the union’s Articles of Association, a turnout of at least 10% is required in order for referendum policy decisions to be considered valid.
945 votes were received, a total turnout of 5.69%.
As the turnout for the referenda did not reach quoracy (10% of the student population, 1660), the results are not binding or an official position of the Students' Union
