Summer by-election nominations are open!

Nominations are now open for the summer by-elections!
There are several positions available across JCRs as well as Part Time Officer roles, Mature Students’ Officer, and the BME Students’ Officer.
Roles include:
- Mature Students’ Officer – represent other mature students at Lancaster and help tackle issues faced by mature students
- BME Students’ Officer – work with the Ethnic Minorities Committee to champion BME students’ campaigns and help reduce inequalities at Lancaster
- JCR Officers – speak to your College JCR to find out which positions are available
- University Council Representative - Elected to sit on University Council alongside the union President as a representative for students.
Nominations
Get your nomination in from 10am Monday June 4 until 4pm Friday June 8 (Week 7). Nominations are submitted via our website. You’ll need to include your manifesto, explaining what you’d like to do in the role and why people should vote for you.
Voting
Voting will open at 10am Wednesday June 13 and close 4pm Friday June 15 (Week 8).
