UNICEF society works by facilitating activities and events that raise money and awareness for the global UNICEF charity that aims to support children across the world in danger.
The charity host regular events themselves as well as collaborating with other societies on campus including the salsa society, Hindu, African and Caribbean society, and the Hip-hop and breakdance society.
Their last major event was an international dinner held at the Chaplaincy Centre on the 27th November, and featured speciality dishes provided by many of the university’s cultural societies, as well as performances.
There are many ways students can get involved with the society, including by signing up to help with advertising and fundraising for individual events. If you would like to find out more about the society you can visit their Facebook page here or join on their webpage here.
