Do you want to help deliver Roses 2025?
The Roses Varsity Competition is our annual varsity sport tournament versus the University of York. It is often described as the largest inter-university sports tournament in Europe, with over 30,000 people competing, officiating, spectating and working when we hosted in 2024. This year, we're off to York!
As a member of the Roses Committee, you have the power to shape the approach to Roses 2025, reviewing new fixture applications with representatives from York, supporting teams in the run up to Roses, and providing on-the-ground representation over the Roses Weekend.
If you'd like to be a member of the 2025 Lancaster Roses Committee, and help us deliver another impactful Roses, then please apply. You do not have to be a member of a sport club or executive committee, but it is recommended that you are a member of a competing Roses Event or have experience of tournament. Applications close at midnight on Tuesday 29th October 2024.
Applications will be reviewed, and feedback given by Friday 1st November. There are only three open spaces available on the Committee, so make sure your application separates you from the rest!
