This Week
Whoops Wednesday Banana Party
This Wednesday it was time to get bananas! Sugar was decked out in decorations that would make Curious George jealous, with a cracking DJ set from DJ Riddler.
Black History Month
Still to come this week (today, Friday 25th October, to be exact!) we’re celebrating Black History Month. In collaboration with LUSU’s African & Caribbean Society, East African Society, and Nigerian Society, Sugar are hosting an All-White Party – wear your favourite white outfits and come down to sugar to celebrate the vibrant cultures that make up our student communities.
With live sets from viral Afrobeat DJ, ‘The People’s Champion’, internationally renowned DJ Kwamz - expect a night of tempo and vibes like no other!
Recently nominated for UK Based Best DJ of the Year at the Ghana Music Awards UK, join the fun as DJ Kwamz brings his legendary energy to Sugarhouse - celebrate the diverse cultures of our campus with banger after banger!

On Wednesday 30th October, make your way to Sugar for a showdown like no other. Join the fun as your rugby and football battle it out – wear your vote and see who comes out victorious.

The Sugarhouse of Horrors
It’s time for some tricks… and a whole lot of treats!
This Halloween, Thursday 31st October, face your fears and enter the Sugarhouse of Horrors. For one night only, Sugar will be transformed into an immersive event by Visual Architects, featuring live DJ sets from DJ Griff, drink deals, and spooky decorations.
Costumes are optional – but heavily encouraged, with an Annual Pass prize for the best dressed.
Friday Night Sing-a-long
It’s time to show us those pipes.
On Friday 1st November, it’s your turn to get the music going. Sing your heart with your friends while we blast banger after banger of classics. Don’t hold back!
