Free Chinese Arts and Crafts session (part of Global Experiences Week)

A variety of events will take place across campus from 13-17 November to celebrate Global Experiences Week. Bowland College and the Confucius Institute are giving students and staff the opportunity to take part in a free Chinese arts and craft session.

Led by Joly Xia, who works with the Confucius Institute, you will learn the ancient art of paper cutting, a traditional part of Chinese culture thought to symbolize luck and happiness, and have the opportunity to write your name in Chinese calligraphy. All materials will be provided.
