Education is about more than what you hear in your lecture theatre, seminars and labs. There’s the employability aspects, the space you study in the people and politics at work around you, not just on campus but on a global scale.
Student Education conference aims to open up discussion around some of the bigger issues faced at Lancaster and in Higher Education in general and perhaps shine light on areas you had never considered before.
Sessions will include:
- Myth busting the Grad Scheme with Careers
- Practicality VS. Aesthetic: a study space debate
- Decolonising Lancaster’s Curriculum
- Mental health and the 1 in 4
- University of the Year and what that means to you
- What is the Government up to and what is ‘value for money’?
- Free Speech and the Snowflake Students
Tickets are free but please book so we can confirm numbers.
