Whether you’re looking to emulate fictional heroes such as Robin Hood; or inspired by the Olympics to take up a competitive sport that’s slightly off the beaten track, we can cater to the whole range of interests. It doesn’t matter if you’ve never even touched a bow before as we will give you all the basic training you’ll need to get going, as well as providing all necessary equipment. We offer free taster sessions at the start of each year where you can come and have a go. After that there's some compulsory coaching which will teach you all you need to know in order to start shooting independently.
After this the membership cost is £40 for the year. This includes the use of all of the club’s equipment, affiliation to the national archery governing body as well as further training and coaching. If you already have shooting experience then you’ll only need to pay the £40 membership fee then you can jump right in!
Please do not buy membership if you do not have a ticket to the beginner's course.
If you are not currently a student, or you would prefer to buy ArcheryGB through your own means, please purchase the 'Non-AGB' membership. We are unable to insure non-students on the club's AGB.
All clubs that use the sports centre require members to purchase a Sport Lancaster membership. Please ask at the front desk to purchase this to ensure you get the correct one. You'll only need one and then you can join as many sports clubs as you like.
Please make sure to have a read of the club rules. We also advise having a read over our constitution and other club documents before purchasing your membership, which can be found here
