Description

Lancaster University Dance Society (LUDanS) is the largest dance society at Lancaster University offering weekly classes in a range of styles, including; Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Street and Commercial. Classes are taught by our current society members, allowing anyone the opportunity to learn and also choreograph for others.

Each year LUDanS hosts a show for all members to take part in and offers opportunities to audition for a place on our comp teams which compete against other universities across the country, as well as at our own home competition. We also compete these dances against York in Europe's largest varsity competition, Roses!

LUDanS provides numerous performance opportunities for both competition and non-competition members, hosts weekly socials and puts on events and charity fundraisers. Our charities for the 26/27 academic year are Teenage Cancer Trust and Cancer Care.

Membership for the year will cost £35 with additional costs for those competing.
