Opportunities

Throughout the academic year, we provide our members with many opportunities to get involved with. These range from livestreaming events for societies, to our live coverage of Roses, to the production of recap videos for the end of year college extravs (which we can provide limited entry for).

In between all the major events, there are plenty of other things to do. These include but are not limited to:

• Livestreams
• Studio Shows
• Commisisons
• Event Coverage

Due to LA1's prestige we are able to get a hold of press passes for many on campus events and even some off campus ones too, such as Highest Point. Not only will you be invovled in local student events, but potentially big official commercial ones too!

But what if you want to make a weekly show or maybe even revise during exam season? Well, LA1 provides even this with our members only exclusive area. This can be found just behind Go Burrito (under Spar) in the Slaidburn House building. Here, we have a control room, studio and office space for our members to use. Not only is it a great place to escape, but most of what the campus has to offer is within easy walking distance!

Whether you want to be in front or behind the camera, there are so many ways to get involved with LA1TV: Directing, Presenting, Producing, Camera Operating, Graphic Design, Video Editing, Publicity, Acting, Script Writing and so much more! If there is something you think we should have but we don't, then we need you!
