We support the recently published letter by the Full-Time Officer team seeking a rent reduction for Central supermarket. The offering from Central is essential to our campus and we encourage the University to reconsider its latest stance and produce a rent reduction for Central supermarket.

For students who have accessibility requirements making off-campus travel difficult or impossible, Central has been a valuable lifeline - literally - for decades. The University's refusal to even negotiate on rent reduction to allow Central to continue trading shows their utter lack of care for students.
