Volunteer for Bay Volunteers
About organisation / project
Bay Volunteers provides support for people & communities' needs across Lancaster District, working with Hope Church Lancaster, Lancaster City Council, Lancaster District CVS, Bay Health & Care Partners, Bay Medical Group, Lancaster Uni SU, and others.
As part of Bay Volunteers, volunteers can sign up and pick which missions they would like to do, when they do them and how much they want to volunteer. The missions that we receive, which our volunteers take up, mainly include either: shopping for/with someone, collecting and delivering post/parcels, collecting and delivering prescriptions, a listening call/in-person visit/walk, patient transport, digital support, and/or supporting someone initially to attend a community group. It's volunteering in your hands!
