Our Pop-up ECOShop returns this Welcome Week, giving you the opportunity to grab some essentials on campus and help create a more circular economy
Part of the DONTDitchIt project, our pop-up ECOShop gives you the opportunity to buy bargain household items on campus on a pay-as-you-feel basis. All of the items were previously owned by students and saved from landfill thanks to Don't Ditch It and the Green Lancaster teams hard work throughout the summer, to ensure nothing goes to waste and charities & students benefit.
The ECOShop will run in Alexandra Square on Arrivals Weekend, 10am-2pm October 2-3rd and throughout Welcome Week, selling second hand and upcycled items. Plus the hugely popular Textbook Sale will return, giving you the opportunity to bag those pricey subject textbooks second hand.
So why not skip a trip to town, save money and the environment by heading to our ECOShop where you will be able to buy bargain:
🍽 Kitchenware (pots, pans, crockery, utensils)
👖 Laundry baskets, clothes racks and hangers
✏ Stationery (pens, pencils, folders, notebooks)
📦 Room decor and storage baskets
You'll be saving money, helping to create a circular economy and reducing waste - easy!
