Lancaster University Amnesty Society will be hosting the Amnesty International North-West regional conference here at the University on Saturday. Hear from their campaign experts, learn more about human rights, and make connections with activists from across the region. Jam-packed full of workshops and discussions, this event is designed to give you the skills to stand up for human rights in your community.

Highlights include a keynote address by Tina Rothery, member of the anti-fracking Nanas, and a panel discussion on human rights in the UK, with Cat Smith MP. They’ll also have workshops on digital campaigning, refugee rights and Amnesty’s new BRAVE campaign. Not to be missed is your opportunity to take part in a Q&A with the Amnesty Board of Directors.
