During week 19, Part Time Officer for International Students, Viraj Bhatia, held an International Food and Drink week in Furness bar. The week started off on Monday with Spanish food and drinks, Chinese on Tuesday, German on Wednesday, Italian on Thursday, Friday hosts American food and ending on Saturday with Indian.

Celebrating the wide variety of cultures on campus is not something new to Lancaster but this is the first time something like this has been held over a week from a single college bar. 

The food and drinks have gone down a treat and have offered something different which is just what Viraj was hoping to achieve, “The German and Spanish nights were very successful. I just aimed to celebrate the different cultures of Lancaster this week and help people take a break.”
