Our Islamic Society led prayers in Alexandra Square today to mark Islamophobia Awareness Month, which works to deconstruct and challenge the negative stereotypes used to demonise and discriminate against followers of Islam.

Society member Zayne Mahmud led prayers and gave a sermon on the importance of charity in the Muslim faith.
