Join us at the Big Summer Meet-Up 2019 to chat with us about the things that matter to you and find out how you can be part of making a difference through your union.
All Lancaster students are welcome to join us in the Management School Hub at 6pm on Monday May 13 for an informal event designed to give you chance to find out more about our work and share your views on life at Lancaster.
There’ll be chance to get updates from your President and Vice-Presidents, take part in group discussions, and ask questions about any aspect of the union’s work.
As part of the Big Summer Meet-Up we’ll also be holding the union’s Annual General Meeting, where there’ll be chance to debate and vote on policy motions and other union business.
Voting will also take place online for those who are unable to attend.
Any student can submit policy motions for debate at the Big Summer Meet-Up – policies brought forward by our members can set the union’s approach to a wide range of topics, from things specific to life at Lancaster to national or global issues.
For more information about submitting a policy or anything else about the Big Summer Meet-Up, email Vice-President (Union Development) Matty Robinson at su.vp.uniondevelopment@lancaster.ac.uk
The Big Summer Meet-Up is in the Management School Hub at 6pm on Monday May 13 and there’ll be free ice cream and other refreshments on offer.
