As it stands, Lancaster is 45th in the BUCS League table with 704.5 points. 111 of those point have come from Lancaster University Pool and Snooker have they cleaned up 89 in 8-Ball, 19 in 9-Ball and 3 in Snooker.
It has been a great season for fencing who have taken 89 points after both Men’s and Women’s teams win their league. Men’s firsts also won Conference Cup earlier this term in Manchester.
Men’s badminton smashed the season with 10 wins out of 10, doubles team Alistair Hawgood, and Viktor Minchev remained undefeated throughout. Undefeated and Conference Cup winners men’s Lacrosse have had an amazing season securing 30 points. Men’s hockey first have ended the season with 10/10 wins, a Conference Cup win and 30 BUCS points.
Women's Table Tennis will be promoted into the top league after this seasons 10 wins out of 10 and securing 30 BUCS points.
Men’s water polo have been unstoppable this season topping their league undefeated, with 16 BUCS points, a gold difference of 86 and a Conference Cup win.
Women's Netball thirds will be promoted after topping their leagaue and taking 24 points.
Other success in Lancaster University Swimming and Water Polo includes men’s swimming team of Juan Mougan, Hugh Takemoto, Henri Choron and Will Beavan finished 6th at University Nationals in the 4x100 medley relay at the BUCS Long Course Championships. Men’s swimming team of Jason Wu, Will Beavan, Henri Choron and Carl Smith finished 7th in the 4x100m FR relay at the same competition. Both were BUCS National A final spots.
Men’s Football firsts brought home 22 BUCS points after finishing first in their league this season and are set for promotion next season.
Boat Club have had a successful year and impressive wins with 2 senior men’s 4s placing first and third in Tyne New Year’s Head and the novice women placing 7th out of 29 at BUCS Head race.
Next term see’s the start of the outdoor cricket season as well as various tournaments and of course Roses.
