After 15 years of serving Lancaster students LUSU Shop finally closes its doors today.
Over the time it’s been open, LUSU Shop has faithfully served hundreds of thousands of meals, treats, snacks, and the occasional alcoholic beverage to its loyal customers.
We would like to take a moment say thank you. To the staff and students who have worked there over the years and have helped LUSU Shop provide for Lancaster university campus day in, and day out. Many of our staff members have worked at LUSU Shop for a number of years, and we are incredibly grateful for their hard work.
Thank you to Chloe Hope, who has worked there since 2009 and Yvonne Woodburn who has been with us since 2018. They will be fondly remembered by generations of students who came here. And not forgetting the many, many members of student staff who have worked in the shop over the years as well. Thank you all.
Our special thanks go to Allison Cooke, who has worked tirelessly in shops on campus for more than 24 years and will be fondly remembered by generations of students who stepped through the LUSU Shop doors.
If you have any photos you would like to share of LUSU Shop – as a customer or staff member – please drop them to us via Instagram!
With LUSU Shop closing its doors, more open as the Co-Op prepare to take over. The shop will open in the Summer, and we wish them all the very best in serving the student community at Lancaster for years to come.
