#Men4Change Student Training Opportunity

Wednesday 15-10-2025 - 12:08

Every student has a role to play in shaping our university's culture.

Whether in lectures, societies, clubs, or halls, the way we treat each other defines our community. LUSU and Lancaster University have partnered with #Men4Change to deliver free, in-person student training that brings men into conversations about respect, equality, and inclusion.

What is #Men4Change?
This 5-hour workshop equips students with the skills and confidence to create positive change on campus. You'll explore how gender stereotypes affect everyone, learn to lead respectful conversations, and build confidence in challenging harmful behaviour when you see it. It's also an opportunity to connect with other student leaders who care about making a difference.

Why take part?
Beyond contributing to a safer, more inclusive community, this workshop strengthens your CV and employability. Employers increasingly seek graduates who can demonstrate leadership, teamwork, knowledge of equality issues, and the ability to navigate difficult conversations—all skills you'll develop through this training.
