We’re approaching the final weeks of Movember and not only are the moustaches on campus growing larger by the day but so too is the support for the Movember movement following fundraising events hosted by the union and our students.
The campaign has been embraced across campus in a number of events throughout the month and there are some still to come! Follow the links below to see some of the things you can still get involved in from quizzes to netball and keep an eye on our social media for further upcoming events. We’re also hoping to get some pictures of moustaches on our sports teams this BUCS Wednesday so stay tuned for lots of fun pictures!

Movember is an annual awareness month which aims to draw attention to Men's Health, with an emphasis on general care and wellbeing, mental health and cancers. The Movember Foundation donates the money raised to a number of charities and organisations that work to help men live longer, happier and healthier lives. At the start of this month we were delighted to host Dave Chawner at a free comedy event in the Nuffield Theatre where he used comedy to help to break down the awkward gap between illness and health in order to help people understand how to get/stay mentally regulated in a show about psychology, society and stupidity.
The details of all of our registered teams can be found by searching Lancaster on the official Movember page alongside further information on the movement and what it represents.
