Roses Unlocked fast approaches as our athletes get ready to represent Team Lancaster this weekend

Pentathlon teams assembled, clubs prepped, charities chosen. Roses returns over May Bank Holiday weekend as our athletes take on the University of York in a series of sporting competitions from their home campuses, raising money for the mental health charity Mind.

In addition to live fixtures across the weekend brought to you by LA1TV and BailriggFM, clubs and societies will take on York in the head to head Roses Penthalon. Pentathlon athletes will run, row, sprint, cycle or swim for points. Just one athlete will represent Team Lancaster in each club for the sprint, row and swim categories.

The rest of the events will see Lancaster clubs go head to head with York as we fight for the Roses 2021 title. 

Get ready for the sound of sport, the sun scorching (fingers crossed) and a sea of team colours (red t-shirts at the ready!) as we bring it home next weekend, at Roses Unlocked 2021.
