A happy New Year from all of us here at the student’s union!

Our offices are now back open following the holiday period and we’re looking forward to another year of supporting the experiences of all our students. If you’re around on campus before term begins then why not pop in and join us for a brew and a chat? Our Welcome Zone is open 10-4 on weekdays until term begins again and our Advice team are back in the office and ready to provide help and support to students who need them. If you're looking for a break from your essays and deadlines we have board games and books here at the union too so, if you need to wind down and relax for a few hours, you can come and join us!

Your Full-Time Officers are in and working hard making lots of plans for the term ahead. If there’s anything that you’d like to chat with them about or that you’d like to see them doing this term then either ask us at the Welcome Desk or drop us an email at help@lancastersu.co.uk so that we can arrange a time for you to speak with them. Our on-campus supermarket Central is closed January 3 so that we can make sure we’re stocked up for the new term but it will be open 9 – 10 for the remainder of the week. The holiday opening times for the remaining period until term starts will be posted to our Facebook page.

If you’re looking to try something new this year and to make some new friends then don’t forget about our Refreshers fair Wednesday January 3 where you can find out more about the clubs & societies that you can join on campus.
