Do it right

Lancaster University Students’ Union has gained the Alcohol Impact accreditation. Alcohol Impact is a programme run by National Union of Students (NUS) that aims to change attitudes and behaviours around drinking and foster a healthier, safer and more productive student community.

Over the year the Full Time Officer Team have worked with Sugarhouse and the Welfare and support team on campaigns and initiatives including Late Night Do It Right to promote responsible drinking.

Union President Josh Woolf said, “The late night do it right campaign has been hugely successful and it’s been great to see people enjoying a chat, a few biscuits and sweets on their way into and out of Sugarhouse. The accreditation mark puts a great stamp on the hard work done by the Welfare, Sugarhouse and Officer teams over the past few years.”
