• To be the primary student representative for sporting activity and clubs.
• Promote the benefits of participation in sports and healthy living to students. 
• Promote to the membership engagement in sport and the Union’s sporting activity.
• Ensure that there is successful organisation of Roses and that home and away events are appropriately planned and resourced. 
• Represent and promote Lancaster student opinion within British Universities and Colleges Sports with regard to competitive/elite inter-varsity competition.
