From the purely recreational to the highly competitive, there is something for everyone at Lancaster. Our Sport Lancaster clubs compete in the national BUCS divisions and there's a huge range of sports clubs on campus competing at various levels, as well as making a big contribution to the university's social scene. Our colleges each have their own football, netball and bar sports teams, who battle week in, week out to come out on top.
We also offer loads more opportunities throughout the year to take part in a range of sports and physical activities. It's a great way to meet new people and try something new! Our Turn Up and Play scheme helps you get as involved in sport as you’d like to be, whether it be stepping onto a sports court for the first time ever or testing out a sport you think you might enjoy. Sport at Lancaster is for everyone.
Student sport at Lancaster University is overseen in partnership between the University and the Students’ Union.
