On the February 9 2019, Lancaster University Dance Society (LUDanS) are hosting an inter-university dance competition, at the Lancaster Town Hall.

LUDanS Publicity Officer Lily Cox said: ‘We are extremely excited as a society to be hosting a competition at home. We’re being joined by the fabulous dance societies from the University of Manchester, University of Cumbria, Chester University and Leeds University Ballet Society and will be competing across a range of styles. We will also get to enjoy performances from a number of other Lancaster University societies including Salsa and Cheer!’

The event runs from 9 AM to 5 PM and will see 200 competitors compete in front of a panel of four professional judges who between them have experience of dancing for Robbie Williams, Elton John & Michael Jackson as well as performing on the X Factor, Britain’s Got Talent and in Cirque Du Soleil.
