On Thursday 4th July, you will have the opportunity to vote in the upcoming General Election.

 

 

As a student, you might choose to cast your vote here in the Lancaster & Wyre constituency. We want to make sure you have every opportunity to cast an informed vote in July.

That’s why we've invited the candidates for the Lancaster & Wyre parliamentary constituency to come and take your questions. Find out who the candidates are here.

Most students will have been unable to vote in a general election before. 

The general election offers a chance for students from the UK (and some Commonwealth countries) to choose who represents them in national government and we believe that you should be able to make an informed choice when doing so.

The General Election Candidate Question Time event is an opportunity for you to meet the candidates for Lancaster and Wyre and ask them questions about what matters to you!

Come along on the 17th to hear what candidates from all major parties think of student questions - and submit your questions in advance now!

Come along to George Fox LT1 between 7pm - 8:30pm to hear from the candidates and ask your questions.

Though we will be taking questions from the room, your questions are more likely to be asked if you get it in early.
