LA1TV have swept up another national award this weekend at the annual NaSTA conference and awards.

This weekend LA1TV added to their trophy cabinet with the NaSTA for ‘News and Current Affairs’ for their General Election coverage.

Station managers Siri Hampapur and Joel Edwards said,

“We did not expect to win and it was such a shock to us all. The coverage was fantastic and it was an incredible effort from everyone who was involved and just shows the amazing things that student media can achieve.”

In 2017 La1TV won Best Technical Achievement for their Roses 2016 coverage, you can see more of their achievements here.
