Advice

Times may be challenging and strange, but one thing remains constant, your students' union Advice team are here for you.

Whether you're in Lancaster or at home, our Advice service has gone digital so that we can continue to support you through whatever you're going through.

The current circumstances can undoubtedly exacerbate existing issues, or even produce new anxieties and leave you in need of support for the first time.

Our Advice Service is here for free, non-judgemental and confidential support for all Lancaster University students. Our team of professional advisors are independent and separate from the university, meaning our service can offer completely impartial advice and support.

Accessing the Advice service is simple. Just drop our team an email using the address below and they will endeavour to respond as quickly as possible. For more information about the service head to our dedicated Advice page or the COVID-19 page for key information.

EMERGENCY FOOD AID

If you're struggling financially and you are worried about your ability to provide yourself with sufficient food, we're here for you.

We have a limited number of emergency provisions (due to national supply chains) for any students still living in Lancaster, in desperate need of food aid. Our Food Boxes will contain essential store cupboard staples (all vegetarian) to help you get through this time.

Our stock is incredibly limited, so please understand that this service is limited and is only for those in need. To order your Food Box please contact the Advice team directly on advice@lancastersu.co.uk and they will arrange to get it to you. Please also advise at this point if you are self-isolating.
