A renaming Sugarhouse facilitation group has been created by the Executive Committee, to assist in the renaming The Sugarhouse nightclub. 
This group will not directly be renaming The Sugarhouse, but will be acting as an administrative group which will be researching names suggested by students.     

• The facilitation group will supply the list of names suggested by students with their research reports to the Executive Committee. 
• The Executive Committee will then send the names back to students in a series of public polls.  
• The winner of each poll will then be taken back to the Executive Committee.  
• The Executive Committee will then send them to the Democracy Committee to organise the preferendum. 
• The facilitation group will be working between the 3rd and 7th May. Whilst we will do our best to pick times that work for everyone, it’s possible we might not be able to get times that work for everyone. 

Who can be part of it? 

Any student can be a part of this facilitation group. It is integral that we not only include students in the process of voting for a name, but also empower students to help research any name suggestions. If this sounds like something you’d like to be involved in, please fill this online form by Monday 5 April, 5pm.

How can I suggest names? 

Via our online form, add your name, name suggestion, a little bit about why you think it’s a great option and press submit. We’ll then have your suggestions to pass on to the facilitation group.

How can I ask a question or leave a commet? 

There is plenty of information as part of this process so it’s understandable if you want to know more about the process, or what will happen next.
