You might have noticed some changes to The Sugarhouse at your last few visits. That’s because over the summer break, we gave it a little revamp!

 

 
While you were all away celebrating another successful year, we were preparing another little treat, just for you. With a whole new look, Sugarhouse is stepping into its next era, providing all the fun and entertainment your heart desires.
 
So, what did we do? 
 

Front Room

The front room has gotten an upgrade! Now a space where students can socialise more, there are even more opportunities for you to pop on down to Sugar for a chat before the party is underway.
 
With the redesign of this space, students can also find a place to unwind and take a breather when you need a break from the party.
 

Mural

Bit of wall art anyone?
 
The main wall of Sugar is now decked out in all its rainbow glory with a fancy video game themed mural for your eyes to get lost in. You can even spot everyone’s favourite classic video game characters!
 

Arcade Games

Speaking of games… we have some!
 
We decked the space out with a bunch of classic games for you to enjoy and compete against your friends. From basketball to air hockey, this space is the perfect opportunity to get away from some of the madness, and chill with some friendly competition.

 
Nintendo Wii

And that’s not all. We’ve also installed a Nintendo Wii console with a whole bunch of games available for you to choose from.
 
You can book slots to hire out our Wii, which will be projected onto the wall so that you can take it all in as you spruce up your Wii Sports skills (we know you want to.)
 
 
With its new look, The Sugarhouse is ready to give students the nights out you deserve. All while being a fun, inclusive, and safe place for you to enjoy. Plus, any money that you spend during a night at Sugar, goes back into supporting the development of your student experiences – the best of both worlds!
