Well done to our Roses teams

We'd like to say a massive thanks to our Roses teams following a fantastic weekend of sporting action.
Although York were the winners of this year's annual sporting competition, the overall final score was close, reflecting the amazing talent and commitment of our teams.
Vice-President (Activities) Toby Wilkinson said: "I'd like to say a huge thanks to everybody involved in this year's Roses event.
"All Lancaster's competitors and supporters have been amazing, and made sure York have had to work hard to secure their home win. York Students' Union and University of York have been excellent competitors and hosts - although the result hasn't gone Lancaster's way, it's been a great weekend and I'd like to thank them for everything they've done to make the event happen.
"I'd also like to say thank you to the student volunteers and officers, student media teams and union and university staff from Lancaster for making the weekend a success.
"Now it's time to start looking forward to Roses 2020, when the event returns to Lancaster!"
