A Lesson In Black History Part 1 - Who We Are

Dive into the rich and unique timelines of black history, from important events, to the incredible Black people who have changed our world. The three part mini-series is curated and presented by acclaimed authors & thought leaders Mireille Harper & Seun Matiluko

We are very lucky to have two credible and fantastic authors delivering this piece of content. Mireille and Seun take us on a trip through the history books, exploring everything you should know about black history; preserving and recognising these stories for this generation, and the those that follow.

They’ll be discussing the most iconic black leaders in history, and some you probably haven’t heard of that should be celebrated more, as well diving into the legends of black history, both real and fictional and their cultural significance.

This will be followed by looking at the legacy of black history, why it’s so important and what you can do to help preserve it.

Finally, they’ll be exploring how we can all think beyond Black History Month and take action in the wake of Black Lives Matter; how do we continue to respect, honour, and celebrate Black history and Black stories all year round, now and in the future?
