Cartmel Graduation
This year Cartmel will have one ceremony at 10am. By now you should have received information about your graduation via email from the Ceremonies Office. You will find all the information you need about your graduation here. If you haven't already done so then please confirm your attendance at the cermony and book your guest tickets for the day viaCeremonies Online. Two guest tickets are guaranteed for those who apply by Friday 15th April. After that date you will have to apply via email to theCeremonies Office, tickets are in high demand for ceremonies so even if you do not plan to attnd please register a "No". Tickets can be collected from Cartmel College Office from 9th June until Monday 4th July, after that date your tickets will be held by the Ceremonies and Events Office and can only be picked up on the day.
Following the Ceremony we will head to Lancaster Square for the group photo and then down to Cartmel to celebrate in style, with food, live music and plenty of fizz!
Cartmel's Graduation Lunch tickets are available from the on-line store or from Cath in the College Office, the subsidised ticket prices is £8 and the menu is as follows:
Paella (vegetarian paella is available)
and from the BBQ
Chicken kebab
Char grilled vegetable kebab
(served in a wrap with salad and tomato salsa)
Salads, crusty bread and warm new potatoes
Strawberries & Cream
Cheese board
Unlimited serve yourself ice cream
Tea, Coffee, juice
Your tickets should be picked up from the College Office.
Graduation Day is a special occasion marking your progress from student to Graduate, and we are very much looking forward to celebrating with both you and your friends and family.
We wish you and your family a wonderful celebration to mark your excellent achievements at Lancaster University and hope you enjoy a fantastic final day in Cartmel!

- Unless specified by the organising group, all tickets are non-refundable.
- The right of entry is reserved at all events.
- Breach of conditions or any unacceptable behaviour likely to cause damage, nuisance or injury shall result in the patron being ejected from the premises.
- Unless specified, tickets are sold for an unreserved standing event.
- Tickets cannot be exchanged, transferred or resold for commercial gain.
- The Students’ Union reserves the right to alter or vary the content or timing of the whole or any part of the event due to circumstances beyond reasonable control without being obliged to refund or exchange tickets.
- The Students’ Union cannot take any responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property brought to an event.
- There will be photographers, videographers and live-streaming on site at some Students’ Union events. By purchasing tickets you are accepting that photographs may be taken of you during the event and that these may be released into the public domain; examples of uses include, though are not limited to, publication on the Students’ Union Facebook page, Students’ Union website and our publications.
