Just Play 11- aside Football League
Football: JUST PLAY League
Registration deadline: Thursday 19th October
Team places available: 16 (places will be allocated on a first come first served basis)
League Payment fee: £128.50
Payment includes:
- Referee fees for 7x 90 minute games per team
- Affiliation Lancashire FA
- Medals and trophies
- Insurance
*An optional cup competition is to be confirmed which will incorporate a separate charge.
Information needed at registration: Captains name, contact email and telephone number, whether Captain is student or staff
League match days: Saturday’s and Sunday’s
Venue: Campus Football pitches and 3G Astro Turf
Time of matches: TBC
IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT REGISTRATION TO THE LEAGUE WILL BE ON A FIRST COME BASIS AND CAPTAINS MUST PAY THE REQUIRED FEE AT REGISTRATION AND PROVIDE ALL DETAILS REQUIRED
There are a few restrictions however to ensure that it does offer individuals the chance to play that are not already involved in a league.
The captain must be a student
- Both current students and staff are eligible to play in any ratio
- Registered players from any team in the IC Football League A or B are not eligible to play
- Members of the University Football Club are not eligible to play
- Squad size shall be 20 maximum
- Players may only play for one team in the league throughout the season

- Tickets cannot be exchanged, transferred or resold for commercial gain.
- The Students’ Union reserves the right to alter or vary the content or timing of the whole or any part of the event due to circumstances beyond reasonable control without being obliged to refund or exchange tickets.
- The Students’ Union cannot take any responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property brought to an event.
- There will be photographers, videographers and live-streaming on site at some Students’ Union events. By purchasing tickets you are accepting that photographs may be taken of you during the event and that these may be released into the public domain; examples of uses include, though are not limited to, publication on the Students’ Union Facebook page, Students’ Union website and our publications.
