Pre Roses Outdoor Cinema
This event has been regretfully postponed due to a short notice issue with the supplier. The screenings will be rescheduled so that the films can be enjoyed at a later date. If you're still in the mood for a movie night, why not head to Take2 Cinema on campus who will be screening Dune 2 on Thursday evening.
Get ready for the biggest weekend of the year and unwind with a pre-Roses Outdoor Cinema experience just a stone's throw from our official Roses Fan Village, brought to you in collaboration with Take2 Cinema.
From 5:30pm, dive into the Mushroom Kingdom with the iconic Super Mario Bros Movie and embark on a thrilling journey alongside everyone's favourite plumber duo, Mario and Luigi. Get ready for a wild ride filled with action, humour and plenty of mushroom power. Fire Flowers are Red, right??
The adventure doesn't stop there... from 8:00pm we'll be stepping in to the always-blue skies and pastel pink houses of Barbie Land where everything is perfect... unless you have a full-on existential crisis. Or you're a Ken. Join us for the film of the year that is Barbie.
This event is free to attend and everybody's welcome - just come along and find a space! We'll have picnic blankets and deckchairs available for you to kick back on, or feel free to bring your own along. There'll also be tasty food stalls on site so you can grab yourself some movie snacks. Join us for this special night to kick off the Roses weekend in style!
These screenings are licensed for single title screenings by Filmbankmedia. The Super Mario Bros. Movie runs 1h 32m. Barbie runs 1h 54m.
