This event has expired or is no longer available.
It is compulsory for the Treasurer of every Sport Lancaster Club to attend this training.
This training will:
- Explain what funding is available for your club and how to access it
- Explain what the Union financial rules and regulations are that you will need to follow as a club Treasurer, including what you need to do to claim funding from the Union
- Provide copies of Payment Claim forms (which you will need to fill out in order to claim funding from the Union)
- Provide you with example invoices and budgets to help you best plan and prepare your club finances for the year ahead
- Provide tips and support to enable you to make the most effective use of your membership money and funding
It is also advised that club Presidents also attend this training due to the important impact of funding on the general running of clubs.
All Treasurers should have already attended the training that ran at the end of last Term (there were 2 sessions after Roses) this is 1 of 2 additional sessions being ran for those that did not attend either of those sessions. There will be no further sessions.
Your club will not be able to claim any Union funding (including Roses Sports Development and BUCS funding) until your Treasurer has attended this training. Failure to attend either of these sessions (if you did not attend the ones ran after Roses 2018) will therefore put your club at risk of having their first BUCS fixture cancelled as BUCS funding is used for transport, affiliation and entry fees.
