Description

Lancaster University Cricket Club is a rapidly expanding club with a strong and diverse membership base. With two very competitive BUCS teams, including our first XI, who play in BUCS Division 2A, and the second XI, who play in BUCS Division 4A. Additionally, we have a Third XI that competes at Roses and in multiple friendlies during the summer months, against both other universities and local sides. This ensures that there's cricket for all levels of ability, experience and commitment. Welcoming cricket badgers from across the spectrum, LUCC is home to both high-class and beautifully village cricket; all rolled into our trademark brand of strokery!

We have three training sessions a week ensuring that there is no shortage of contact time. During the second half of lent term, we begin moving outside for fielding sessions to prepare us for the start of the season.  In the summer we move all our sessions to the outdoor nets (weather permitting).

LUCC hosts regular socials, drinking and non-drinking, helping to maintain an excellent club atmosphere, so come along and get involved!
