Description

Engineers Without Borders - Lancaster (EWB-Lancaster) is a society that is affiliated with EWB-UK. We aim to drive a movement that inspires, enables and influences global responsibility through engineering. We welcome everyone who has a passion for making a difference!

Our society is split into three main areas:

  • PROJECTS - We work on projects that focus on creating positive change, both within the University and the wider community. These not only make a difference, but look great on your CV, and will help you to stand out when applying for placements and graduate jobs.

  • EVENTS - We hold workshops, spotlight talks, networking events, and of course socials! Not only will you meet other people who care about using their skills to make a difference, but you'll also learn from industry leaders implementing positive change today.

  • OUTREACH - By visiting local schools, we focus on inspiring the younger generation to help the planet. We also put on workshops to help you develop skills that will allow you to think about how you impact the planet. You can pass on your skills, learn from other students, and promote globally responsible engineering.

There is no Planet B, so we need to work to save ours. Join us for just £5 a year!
