In 2010 Lancaster University became a part of Intervol, a UK-wide charity which helps facilitate ethical international volunteering projects around the world. InterVol Lancaster works with Oxford Aid to the Balkans and Little Big Africa to send student volunteers to participate in placements in Bulgaria, Malawi and India over summer.
Our society focuses on helping volunteers organise their project, providing basic training and assisting in fundraising to work towards the cost of the project. Want to make the first steps towards an experience of a life time? Like our social media pages for regular updates and see how you can get involved!
If you would like more information about Intervol you can visit our national website. Here you can find information about the ethics of Intervol, the projects they are involved in and you can even read volunteer experience stories from students at Lancaster.
We usually aim to recruit volunteers during first term but we may still have places on the projects after this period. To get in touch just message or email us!
