Welcome to Lancaster University Indian Society!
We are the Lancaster University Indian Society. We take pride in being a society inclusive to all, for anyone from any background who wants to appreciate the Indian Culture, learn more about their own roots, or just wants to have a good time and take a break from their studies at our fun-filled events.
Our events include chai and movie nights, bollynights, sporting events, Diwali ball, and South Asian ball plus many many more. Our Diwali Ball also won the Student Union's 'Event of the Year' Award 2021! We also collaborate with other universities such as Leeds Becket for the Biggest Holi Festival in the UK plus many more so you can make friendships and meet people from different Unis.
We aim to make our society as inclusive as possible to everyone at Lancaster University.
Make sure to come down to our events, and join in our fun events to take a break from Uni work, and meet like-minded people, dress up at our balls, or chill and wind down at our sober events.
