Description

LUPW is Lancaster University's Pro Wrestling fan society. We welcome all fans of any kind of wrestling, be it WWE, AEW, Impact, ROH, NJPW or any of the hundreds of indie companies around the world. As a society, we host weekly meetings on Wednesday evenings where we do various activities such as quizzes, gaming, themed watch parties, movie nights, and more. Outside of our meetings we also run various socials, such as PPV screenings, nights out, predictions contests, discussions on weekly events,  and, of course, trips to wrestling shows. For LUPW members only there is an exclusive discount on tickets for local wrestling company, Odyssey Pro Wrestling.

And the best part is... membership is completely FREE!

Whether you're a diehard enthusiast or simply a casual fan, a fresher or a PhD student, all are welcome!

LUPW is a small, friendly, inclusive society where you can make friends and share your love of the sport. But don't just take our word for it, here are some quotes from previous members:

"Out of curiosity I attended the first ever meeting of the LUPW society and would have never expected to have as much fun or meet such awesome people."

"Since joining LUPW I have laughed in times when I really needed to laugh. It’s not a huge society but that’s its charm, it’s like meeting a group of friends every week and having a blast."

"The most fun I’ve had at uni has been with LUPW. There’s something about being a wrestling fan and meeting other wrestling fans that is simply incredible."

"LUPW has been key to making my university experience what it is and I have met some lifelong friends here."
