Welcome to Lancaster University Singing Society, also known as L.U. Sing! We're a group of amateur singers and musicians who meet up to both jam together casually and perform at events across campus on a regular basis, no auditions required!
Our main sessions, for both musicians and singers, take place on Thursday evenings from 6-8pm, with an additional musicians session taking place from 6:30-8pm on Mondays. We also have regular socials! We perform a variety of songs in many different styles, with different themes each week. Songs are voted for by the members of the society, giving you a say in the type of music that we make! We perform at local and campus events, such as Roses, as well as hosting our own concerts each term. Members have the choice of doing a solo number accompanied by our musicians or by yourself, or participating in larger group numbers. There's always something to do for everyone!
There's no pressure to perform if you don't want to, we're a relaxed group all about having fun and enjoying singing together, so if you like to jam then come give us a visit or send us a message on social media, we'd love to see you there!
