Life is like roller skating – sometimes you just have to roll with it! So roll with the Roller-skating society this year as we have many exciting events in store…

Following a test run of the society in the 2023-2024 academic year, we are pleased to announce our first official year functioning as a society!

Join a new community of roller-skaters and roller-bladers, where we are all for everything skating related. Whether you have skates or are interested in trying out a new hobby, don’t hesitate to get in touch with the committee through our social media pages.

What should you expect?

This year we aim to host a variation of socials, alongside regular roller disco and indoor roller-skating lessons. Stay tuned for our upcoming calendar for the Lent Term!

Please note that currently events are for members who own roller-skates already however, we are working towards hiring skates!

Membership/ session information:

Taster session information: Friday 17th January 19:45 - 20:45 

Entry fee: None!

• Sessions to take place every Thursday 19:45 - 20:45
• £12 Lent term membership for those who own skates (covers the cost of weekly sessions) - we do not offer a membership for those who do not own skates however, you can attend on a pay as you go basis. 
• Special events/socials (varying prices for members and non-members)

We will have a stall at REFresher's fair on the 24th January from 4PM to 7PM, so if you have any queries make sure to come and have a chat with our exec team!
