Hello! Would you like a Jelly Baby? A jammy dodger? Would you care for some tea?

 

We are WhoSoc (officially the Lancaster University Doctor Who Society!). We are a community where the Doctor Who fans of Lancaster gather for weekly socials based around the Greatest Show in the Galaxy.

Whether you’ve seen every episode since the '60s (well done you!) or started watching as a Resolution (see what we did there? {Old pun to be replaced soon}), we welcome your enthusiasm and opinions to join the society.

 

Our socials are on Tuesday nights (usually starting at 7 pm) and occasionally some socials occur over weekends. Some socials we offer include watching episodes, quiz nights, games nights, and our famous cake crawls around town, as well as watching any new episodes together when they are released. Our socials occur every week and if you miss out on one, we'll probably be doing something similar the following term.

 

To be a full-time member of the society for the 2024/25 academic year, click the orange button that states 'JOIN THIS GROUP' and pay the membership fee, membership is only £3.00 for the YEAR. If you are interested in checking us out for a few socials in the first term, you can sign up for a free temporary expression of interest membership. (N.B. the temporary expression of interest membership will expire after the first 3 socials of 1st term, and you will not be eligible to stand for an executive position in elections without full membership).
