Description

The natural world around us is full of wonder - and Lancaster campus is no different! 💚 Join us in learning about the wildlife that can be found on and around campus, and help us make efforts to protect it. Whether you're working your way through an extensive list of lifers or are just wondering what's out there, we cater for any level of knowledge with a range of accessible activities and events.

We aim to hold at least one event each week, although times and dates are variable due to weather constraints. We also try to organise a mixture of indoor and outdoor events throughout the year. Examples of events include:

  • Trips (Leighton Moss RSPB is our favourite 🦆🦦)
  • Moth trap mornings
  • Widlife Workshops and talks 🦡
  • Chill walks, socials and quizzes
  • Wildlife camera use for our Annual CamPus Hedgehog Survey 🦔

Membership to our society will always be free :) For paid events (trips etc) we try to make them affordable for everyone!
