Lead your union 700

Nominations are now open for our Full-Time Officer and Part-Time Officer elections 2021!

Full-Time Officer roles

This term we’re electing our new President and five Vice-Presidents for 2020-21. These are paid, full-time roles for the most senior officers in the union.

Our Full-Time Officers play a central role in the running of the union - helping to shape its policies and guide the way it operates.

The roles not only make a huge difference to student life at Lancaster, but also give the candidates great experience that will help them launch their future careers. This is your opportunity to lead your union and to make real change here at Lancaster for the benefit of your fellow students.

Roles are:

  • President
  • Vice-President (Union Development)
  • Vice-President (Education)
  • Vice-President (Welfare)
  • Vice-President (Societies & Media)
  • Vice-President (Sports)

Submit your nomination now

Part-Time Officer roles

We’re also holding election for our six Part-Time Officers. These are voluntary roles, representing students who identify as members of our liberation groups.

Roles are:

  • International Students' Officer
  • Women+ Officer
  • LGBTQ+ Students' Officer
  • BAME Students' Officer
  • Postgraduate & Mature Students' Officer
  • Students with Disabilities Officer

Candidate Academies

Throughout the election period we'll be hosting a series of Candidate Academies, giving you chance to find out more about the roles and get advice on manifesto-writing, campaigning and more. Look out for more information on the SU Facebook page.
