The Students’ Union is very sad to announce the passing of a member of our community, Johnny Carlton.

A third-year BA Hons Politics student and Lonsdale college member, Johnny passed away suddenly on Monday 22 January. His death is a huge loss for the University community, and we know this will be a very difficult time for those who had come to know him during his time at Lancaster.

The thoughts of the University community are with all of his friends and family.

An online book of condolence is available on the University portal for the sharing of memories of Johnny and tributes to him.
