The Students’ Union is very sad to announce the passing of a member of our community, Lillie Adams.

Lillie Adams, who was in the third year of a course studying Theoretical Physics, died suddenly last Saturday, 25th May 2024. The police have indicated that there are no suspicious circumstances.

Lillie, who joined Lancaster University in 2020, was also a member of Bowland College and the Fencing Society.

Lillie’s family have been informed by the Police, and the University remain in contact and are offering them as much support as possible.

We want to pass on our sincere condolences to Lillie’s loved ones, friends and course-mates. We know Lillie will be greatly missed by the University community.

An online book of condolence will shortly be made available for you to share your tributes and memories. In time the University will also begin making arrangements for a memorial event here in Lancaster so we can come together as a community in her memory.
